The "Cygn" is a self-coined term which covers several layers of meaning. The first is the meaning of ‘Sign’ itself, the symbols,  sounds, words ... with which we give meaning to the world. It reflects the very ability which distinguishes us from the animals and the first mission of Man: naming the objects of the world. The root-word sign is the foundation for many words like signature, signification, signal,… The reason I write it as cygn and not as sign is because in this way, I refer to Cygnus, the Latin word for Swan. In many ancient cultures, the swan was a powerful symbol and archetype of spiritual awakening. In Hindu culture, the Sanskrit word Paramahamsa (‘Supreme Swan’) is a religio-theological term applied to spiritual teachers who have become enlightened. Since the swan is equally at home on land and on water, similarly, the true sage is equally at home in the realms of matter and of spirit. To be in divine ecstasy and simultaneously to be actively wakeful is the paramahamsa state. It is said that the Royal Swan of the soul floats in the cosmic ocean, beholding both its body and the ocean as manifestations of the same spirit.  The word Paramahamsa signifies the One who is awakened in all realms. Paramahamsa is the highest level of spiritual development in which a union with ultimate reality has been attained.

 

For me personally, the Swan has revealed itself in such an unusual and transcendent manner on different levels of existence that it became the key to realize the Unity of the whole Universe. I believe that the similarity between the words sign and cygn is not coincidental and that the Swan is the archetype of Signification and Unification.

 

The word "Hallu", on the other hand, means ‘holy’. Holy comes from 'whole' and with this, I refer to the fact that the entire universe is One. From this universal unity, duality arises through a separation between an outer world and an inner “self,” or ego. This duality is only an illusion and is the main reason why we lose mental, emotional, and physical energy. By reconnecting with Unity, we reconnect with the Source of Life and of our true Self.

 

The reason I write it as hallu and not as holy, is because in this way I refer also to the word Hallucination. A Hallucination is often defined as “perception of visual, auditory, tactile, olfactory, or gustatory experiences without an external stimulus and with a compelling sense of their reality”. However, the most basic and at the same time most correct definition is “The objects or events so perceived”. Indeed, in the most evolved spiritual traditions of our world, it is said that our everyday 3D-reality is in fact a hallucination. This means that the world as we perceive it, is somehow created by our own mind. And it is through signication, through naming the world, that we create him. This signification is done not only with our mind but also with our senses. Indeed, our senses are not only passive organs which perceive the outside world, they also have a creative power to fix the wave-like electrons into solid particles.
